Winter Soup Recipes

When the days are long and cold, we need food that’s easy, comforting and nourishing. These two alkaline soup recipes will warm you up from the inside out. Love Soup Bowl

1 lb. garbanzo beans
2 tbs chopped parsley
1 onion chopped
Bay leaves
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 green bell pepper
4 cups veggie stock
2 tsp seal salt
1 red pepper

Place all ingredients in slow cooker and cook for 10-12 hours on high heat. Season to taste and enjoy.

Immunity Soup

5-inch ginger root, chopped
2 cloves shallots, chopped
½ red pepper, chopped
1 handful fennel, chopped
¾ key lime juice
1 ½ apples, cubed
12 oz. squash, juiced

Place a large pot over medium heat, sauté shallots and ginger for 5-7 minutes until shallots are brown. Add rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil and simmer 40 minutes. Enjoy.
